This week, Congressman Connolly secured $5 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for the Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative to create a smart grid to improve efficiency and reliability of its electric generation and distribution network.
This will both save money for NOVEC's 142,00 customers in Prince William County and create 75 jobs over the next three years.
